See AllDexter: Resurrection Needs To Move Past This Character But It Probably Won't
Dexter is a soulless character. Debra, on the other hand, is full of emotions and vitality. In a sense they are two sides of the same coin. Death of Debra reveals the thought behind the story wants to give this concept that" a serial killer will never get a good ending". It is dark, depressing, and not really the case.
Dexter is not a dark soul, he is a victim of his past, a beautiful mind type that can get the best out of his miseries. So he deserves redemption. Debra could be his source of vitality.
It is not too late. This is a story of extremes, Game -of -Thrones type. Anything could happen.
I suggest bring back Debra in flesh.
