I think a decent tradeoff would be allowing players to respec more than once. I get the lack of NG+ because I think starting out with basically nothing and becoming super powerful is core to V's story. There's a lot of character development and story beats that wouldn't feel authentic if V is already a synapse-melting netrunner from the beginning so I get that but I see so many cool videos of all different style builds that I'd like to try out without having to start from scratch with a new V.
