Yes agreed. You own the hardware but nothing else. The OS is just licensed to you. And all the console manufacturers have similar terms in their EULA, as Hoegg's Law video shows.

People should be mad but they should mad at all the companies, not just Nintendo because unfortunately it is not just them.

Actually you are correct, you do own the physically console. But you don't own the OS, you only have the license to use it under certain conditionsI. F you want to install your own OS on it, feel free to try.

For the record, Nintendo doesn't disable the consoles themselves, just the console ability to access Nintendo Online services. Cartridges with games on them will work just fine even after Nintendo "bricks" it. You just can't access Nintendo Account or use their online services.

You're aware that they could have done it under the previous Switch 1 EULA also right? They big difference is they now just stated it openly as opposed just putting it in in broad language. Nintendo bricking online access to consoles is nothing new, they did it in Switch 1 days as well if they discovered you have custom firmware. (And the consoles still work, you just can't use Nintendo Account services)

For the record, PS5 and Xbox Series also have the same language in their EULAs. Hoegg's Law on YouTube did an analysis of the EULA and what it means and also compared it to the other consoles. The EULA says they can brick your console if they think you're trying to circumvent their protections.

And no I'm not saying you should be happy about any of this, but outlets are acting like Nintendo are the only ones who have this language when all consoles and most devices do. The main reason why Nintendo's been in the news is because they have been disabling a lot due to widespread access to circumvention tools on its platform relative to the PS5 and Xbox (like the MiG). You should be mad at most game companies, not just Nintendo for having this sort of policy of their online services and console operating systems.

Really they're angry because of one line where they said his father was an honorable man because he served his country in the Vietnam War? This feels like an extreme overreaction.

People sorn care about no 2 either and even if they did, it's not even the problem as anime product itself is usually not profitable (even for investors). It's usually the stuff like merchandise that are the real money makers.

You'll be surprised how slow some people age, visual wise. They may be rare but they exist.

I know cos my mom was one of them, she can easily pass for 30 when she was 50. To the point where it normal for me and her to walk around thought people thought of assumed were a married couple (when I was in my 20s). This wasn't once or twice either, but quite a number of times where it doesn't surprise me anymore.

Aside from being possibly just having good genes and eating really really healthy, remember she got infected by something in RE5. I can't remembered what it was but it also changed her hair color so who knows what else it did.

How the F did FF8 not make this list? And FF7 made it in....and at No 1 no less? Out of the three PS1 3D FFs, FF7 has the least unique and special magic systems. FF8 has one of the most unique magic systems in JRPG period.

This feels like a list of author's favourite RPGs with some senblence of semi interesting magic systems. FF7's system even if you agree is good enough to make the top 10, definitely doesn't deserve to be No 1.
