Flanagan has been kind of hit or miss IMO (loved Gerald’s Game and hill house, but didn’t care for bly manor or house of Usher at all). So I’m a bit anxious about this one as it is possibly my favorite story/ universe of all time. Amazon has BUTCHERED wheel of time and rings of power so my hopes aren’t real high.

Agreed that Aaron Paul would’ve been great.

Alden Enmerich definitely has the sense of humor and charisma but he too may be too old now. As I recall Eddie dean is 21 or 23 when he enters the story, although that could easily be changed.

John boyega- just no. We might overlook the obvious physical differences if the demeanor was right but it’s not even close.
