8 ‘90s Konami Games That Have Aged The Best, Ranked
In terms of the 2000s I really hope a remake of Lament of Innocence. That castle is beyond amazing, so beautiful. The music incredible, and the story remanecense of Shakespeare's theater plays.
The same goes with Curse of Darkness. Maybe not as beautiful as Lament of Innocence, but still a solid game.
And let's not forget the masterpieces which are Contra Shattered Soldier from the creator of Alien Wars, and also Gradius V from Treasure. Masterful staples of the genius of Konami in the mid 2000s.
The mainline Silent Hill games, specially Silent Hill 3, and the Metal Gear Solid games too, their mecha games. Konami was always the pinacle of development.
Sega Confirms 5 Games for the Nintendo Switch 2
Hopefully they bring back Dengeki Bunk Fighting Climax.
I'm looking forward for the new Virtua Fighter 6.
Besides that, I really wish we can get a new Sega Rally, a new OutRun, a new Daytona, maybe even a new Scud Race would be cool as well, something comparible with a Thrustmaster, and Logitech.
Heck if they want to do remakes of those racing games would be awesome too, like F355 Challenge, or 18 Wheeler Pro Trucker. Having those on 16:9, running at 120 FPS or 4K would be fantastic.
Maybe a collection of all their arcade racers could do that job. Sega Racing Classic was an example that cool things can still be done.
That said, I would be jumping in happiness if they can get us more on rail shooters, specially Virtua Cop. I love The House of the Dead, and it would be welcomed, but Virtua Cop is the one I would love the most to have, and any other of the on rail shooters would be awesome too.
