Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Depths May Have Opened a Door it Can't Close
Vast constellation of Islands? You mean the handful of rocks or which a couple are unique, most are copied and pasted patterns, with the same 3 construct bosses, and a bunch of completely pointless floating rocks, which on top of all have come down for no given reason?
And the depths, how do you even excuse an obviously procedurally generated map with none of the variety of the topside? And with rewards that are useless collectibles LITERALLY copied and pasted from the previous DLC?
I know it's not exactly to the point of the article, but the randomness of both the sky islands and the depths have shown what TOTK really was about: BOTW with a bunch of quickly thrown in crap to have people use the previous game as a playground with some more toys, whereas you discuss it as though there had been some deep, meaningful thought behind these additions. There wasn't. They needed to monetize more on a game that made lots of cash, that's it.
