You're literally getting locked out of certain ''good deeds'' / ''sidequests'' as you obtain more of the keystones.

Talju should be done first, because there are items there to obtain and finish the early game deeds. (Otherwise these NPCs die, such as the one in the first area that are trapped behind a locked door)
