One Piece: Oda Reveals the New Roger, and It Isn’t Luffy
It doesn’t mean that just because Luffy has a different fighting style and Shanks shares similarities with Roger, Shanks is the next Roger. Even though Luffy’s goals mirror Roger’s in some ways, it never crossed my mind that he would be the next Roger, since Roger wasn’t prophesied to guide Shirahoshi, but Luffy will be, as he’s the second Joy Boy who inherited his will, though not fully yet. Luffy still has limitations in his mind and needs to free himself from who he is now. He’s more than just comedic and only wanting to be Pirate King because he thinks it gives him the most freedom in the world, with all the food he wants and his crewmates by his side. But he needs to think on a global/universal scale to surpass Roger and Joy Boy. If he wants to unlock the true, ridiculous and tremendous power of Nika, he has to free himself from the bounds of his current dream, a dream that includes his friends and possibly even his family only. Unlike Joy Boy and Nika, Luffy needs to aim to free the world and its people from suffering and despair.
As for the theory about Shanks being the next Roger because he shares a fighting style similar with his former captain, I don't agree with that idea. While it's true that Shanks might resemble Roger in terms of his fighting style, it doesn't mean Shanks is destined to become the next Roger (if we refer to his old captain's will). Luffy and Roger share a similar spirit and both characters has the voice of all things, but Luffy’s path is his own, and it’s shaped by the will of Joy Boy, not just Roger. Luffy has inherited Joy Boy’s will, and unlike Roger, Luffy is already the second Joy Boy. Shanks, while an important figure, is not following the same trajectory as Luffy (we don't know yet but let us see in the incoming chapters and episodes). Shanks might be a reflection of the past, but Luffy is the one who will forge a new future for the world. So, no, Luffy will never be like Roger. His will, though and most importantly, JoyBoy.
I Have Cracked The Secret To How Imu Defeated Joy Boy In the Void Century
It wasn't around during the Void Century. The Mother Flame is a revolutionary energy source developed by Dr. Vegapunk. It's intended to be an everlasting power supply, potentially enabling Vegapunk and his satellites to generate their own sun. However, the project is still not fully completed. Produced at a facility on Egghead Island, a small sample of it was stolen by York and secretly sent to the Five Elders and Imu. They later used it to activate a mysterious ancient weapon. This detail plays a crucial role in the events surrounding the Egghead Incident.
