Not into Gunn's portrayal. This superman seems week based on the trailer.bHe' s beat up, beat up some more by his dog, dragged to a fortress style that has been done many times before, attended to by giggling robots and hurt by the sun. And that is in a 5 minute trailer. If I recall correctly l, in one series, Superman was under a red sun and implanted by an alien xenomorph. All it it took was 5 minutes in the sun and he barfed it out. Now that's a superman.

I detested the sequel trilogy because it ruined the original trio. They had a chance to utilize the original crew but they depowered them and did not allow them a chance to be together once again. They made Luke a wimp and Mary Poppined Leia. This is the only trilogy I have never rewatched and have no intention of doing so.
