"Best world building"? Mushoku tensei did better than it in 50 episodes. Fuck it, any anime with 1000+ episodes can do everything better than one piece.

Nobody watches movies because it's canon or not. Demon slayer did everything right. It put in love, and set up the perfect hype.

If you look at it in a way, one piece is probably the most popular anime ever. Then why did demon slayer beat it? Because it's genuinely worth it. It had better animation than any anime could dream of having. The movie was better. Pack up the glaze.

I mean, the intro itself is always "here's the story of how I became the strongest hero of all time" and the story ended with deku still having so much potential. Defenitely deku imo
