Meh.

Capcom didn't want my money. Spent 6 months back and forth with support trying to give feedback and come up with an answer if they were going to do game-keys or full cartridges.

I already bought 7 and 8 new on Xbox when they launched. Bought the DLC as it came out. Was ready to shell out full price for the games as individual titles again, and definitely once I heard about the Generations Pack. If they were cartridges I could plug in and play regardless of where I am or connections I have access to.

End of the day, their marketing and dev teams decided that game-keys were the right choice for them, and so I'll wait for Requiem to be on sale on Xbox to pick it up, instead of shelling out nearly $200 for the Generations Pack and the Requiem Pro Controller.

God forbid that you should pass before your time, before getting to give your world a logical conclusion, studio heads and corporate entities will bastardize and destroy your legacy somewhere down the line if you haven't left behind a color-by-numbere conclusion to your tale of the One Piece as a walked out guide to bring your final visions for the crew to fruition.

Please, for us and all that is holy, come up with a loose internal template for how you would end your story to lock away in a safe somewhere, just to err on the side of caution? I should hope there would never be a need to open that safe, but with things like Wheel of Time i can't deny the appeal of such a security blanket.
