Hero bans are absolutely the stupidest idea a game line overwatch could have, and if I were a shareholder I'd demand the jobs of the people who came up with it.

It's going to absolutely tank the player counts.

Overwatch is a game about playing your hero and strategies around it. Not ducking from adversity by not letting someone play who they want

Imagine that mercy one trick with their $50 skin boots up to play and finds out they aren't allowed to play who they want? Watch that uninstall happen so fast. It's the exact opposite of their decision to unlock heroes.

The first time the hero I want to play isn't allowed I'll uninstall myself. Along with my endless amount of money from being an adult gamer.
