I had it glitch out once in the original, the assassin spawned in but just stood there for a moment then attacked me, when I killed him it just progressed as normal only the emperor was standing there, I'm guessing it was a bug with the animation or something, funny though

I don't know, it's a bit of a different situation now to when Zack was setting up the DCEU, see then it was all a bit much a bit soon, the MCU had just started seeing major success and Man of Steel initially seemed to be entirely it's own self contained thing, then DC decided they needed to speed run a cinematic universe to keep up and announced too much without a plan.

For James it's a bit different we're going in now EXPECTING a shared universe this time and the new Superman film is going to be actively laying the groundwork for it, there is a plan in mind behind the scenes which means it'll all be less slapdash than the last go round, so the announcement of multiple projects isn't an issue so much as the films in production actually sticking the landing...new Superman looks fine so far so it probably won't be quite as much of a disaster, and if it is it won't be because they announced a stack of films too early, since we're expecting a stack of films so why play coy about it? May as well try and build buzz, which is kind of lacking, lots of people just aren't all that invested and lots of other people are still very attached to what Zack made
