In a dev team you can have a very small team making cosmetics to boost income (which helps build the game) whilst having the rest of the teams working on bugs, updates etc.

If you don't like cosmetics, cool. You don't have to buy them. But don't whine if someone with disposable income wants to buy them. Maybe one day you'll grow up and have more money and you can spend your money on whatever you want.

Just don't whine when other people want to and the dev team give them the option. It literally takes almost no time for cosmetics to be made so it's not like half the team is spending the entire production time crafting cosmetics.
