NOXXNOXX Dude, if have STATS like HP, STR, DEX, elements, weaknesses and etc IS an RPG. All of the Souls are inserted in the Action RPG genre, where EVEN defined a specific one called "Souls-like".

Why everyone forget about Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen?
I see so much potential in that game, where the combat gameplay shines abundantly and hamonically. Although the narrative and thr depth of the story/lore of Gransys isn't that impressive, the moments i had were of absolute fun, and that game rendered me 3K if not more hours since the released version of the PS3 where i first played. Itsuno's work just needed more refinement, more focus on NPC conversations, interactions and random events intertwining within the story before launching DD2, imho
Honorable mentions i saw here, although i can't play Clair Obscur nor Baldur's Gate 3 because i own a PS4, not a PS5. Among the Souls, i played Demon's Souls, Dark Souls Remastered, Bloodborne and Elden Ring, gotta say i love those last 2. Absolute mindblowing <3
