You didn't tell the whole story. Bioware didn't fail, EA did. Bioware told EA at the start that it was written for a better more complete engine but EA insisted on using their in house Frostbite engine which EA knew would not work. They experienced the limitations when developing Andromeda and had to write addons just to get Andromeda out the door. EA ordered them to use Frostbite, push it out the door and fix it on the fly. EA failed and passed it off on Bioware. As things got bad EA agreed publicly that it would be rewritten using a different engine, hence the Anthem 2 title. They later in private reneged on the deal and told them to immediately fix it on Frostbite but when they were told it could take a year or more to do so shelved the game and blamed Bioware. EA won't release it or let it see the light of day because it would be a massive embarrassment. It still has a large active following better than many of EA's active games. It is a truly sad moment in gaming history.
