I consider Watch_Dogs to be a personal favorite, despite its inherent flaws. Compared to later entries, the narrative is focused on one particular goal for protagonist Aiden Pierce, and it’s examinations of political/economic corruption, the dangers of integrated digital tech in city infrastructure, ever-present surveillance, etc. Still mostly hold up over a decade later. The fact that another player could suddenly appear and interfere whilst traversing the Chicago streets kept me on my toes more often than not, and I especially loved the intensity of some of the car chases and firefights both in or outside the main campaign…
