See AllSteam Addresses the Possibility of Passing on One's Library Through a Will
Let's not forget that creating a steam account is free, and there are many free games you can simply add to your library, you can cherry pick your favorites and buy them when they go on sale. To many people just want everything for free, and just simply don't want to pay for anything and believe free access to said friend or family members purchased games under their own account is perfectly fine to be shared and enjoyed by anyone. This is not Netflix, you don't pay a monthly fee, you build your own collection, whether it be free games, paid for games or a mix of both. We don't own the games, we purchase a right to access one copy of the game, nowhere under the terms and conditions is it stated we can share and give our games to other players freely, if said rights are stated, you can happily point them out to me. Steam accounts are free, there are free games in the library, build your own library. If you can't buy games on sale often times for less than 10 dollars, get a job and make your own money, and quit expecting free games from friends and family. Also as a last caveat, there is a badge in your library that shows how many years you have had your steam account, mine stands at 10 now, I think. So I don't expect this badge to go past 50 or 60, or 70 years you know.
