It makes sense to assume loki will join. But we will know after the battles of elbaf take place. Because as it stands now. Its not plausible due to the power dynamics with the wings of the future king.

However once we see his character and his fruit power. Than we will know if he is worthy...

And there have been huge hints on a big power jumps for the monster trio. And that might just put the wings above loki there by allowing for him to join the straw hats.

And then there is the matter of the size of the sunny. To be honest unless loki has a shrinking power he cant get on the sunny. And there is no way that luffy will abandon sunny.

See, the stern the ones that is the back bone of the ship makes the ship, you cant replace it, change it or repair it. Thats what concluded for merry to reach the end of her life...

And that itself is too small for loki to get on the ship... So to accommodate for loki they either have to have 2 ships one for loki and one for luffy and crew. Or luffy needs a new ship... Which I dont see happening. Or franky needs to be able to rebuild the sunny without killing the spirit of it inorder to accommodate for loki. Which again I dont see happening because the size of the wood for the stern (backbone) of sunny is already set.

The theory of luffy subconsciously started his mission of liberation as soon as he ate the fruit makes sense. He did liberate every town, city, person and kingdom he came across. So i guess it could be possible but it is so far fetched is almost ridiculous... But I guess that is how one piece has always worked

You know. The more the series went on. The more it became less likely that shanks needed to sacrifice his arm to the beast to save luffy. I mean think about it. He was already at yonko level at this stage. His bounty was 4 billion berries. He ruled a quarter of the seas with the other yonkos. You are telling me he couldnt fight off a sea king without loosing his arm? The same sea king luffy defeated with a gumgum pistol a few years later when he was a no name, clueless, Wana be pirate with no ship or crew or flag???

Let's not forget luffy got his first bounty as a complete stroke of luck. That mouse faced marine wanted to make his life hell.. And he had just taken down Arlong. So 4 billion berries is a huge huge deal. Even at the beginning of one piece.

Shanks lost his arm by choice not accident or necessity. That's all I am saying.

I don't know how oda foreshadowed it. And he probably built on it over time to get it so good now. But shanks loosing his arm had always been planned. Shanks lost it on purpose although I don't think even oda knew why he made shanks choose to give up his left arm. But he did it with purpose. As fore shadowing. And to keep the series alive and mysterious.
