Mass Effect 1:

Biggest sin: just dated in combat

Biggest blessing: incredible story with incredible world building

Mass Effect 2:

Biggest Sin: it's nearly perfect, but combat still not quite the best

Biggest blessing: takes ME1s story and world building and improves upon all the characters too

Mass Effect 3:

Biggest Sin: the story, the world building and characters are basically all written by an idiot who was clearly indoctrinated by Bioware and their mandate for multi-player and micro-transaction (both of which failed and server is down)

Biggest blessing: they kept 2 character arcs pre-written by ME2 team so Legion and Mordian will actually get conclusion... But no one else. Also best combat of the series, thanks to desire for multi-player, but very limited replay-ability due to terrible story and dumbass characters.

Well, he's clearly gotten dementia after having his visions disproven. Time to enact the 26th ammendment of the Eldar Scrolls and go find his heir Martin.

He can retire to the Shivering Isles with you post game.

I'm more concerned about how terrible Mass Effect 3's endings were (both the original and free dlc fix). So no matter what Shepard they pick, the series is doomed to a terrible letdown regardless.

This is what happens when EA takes over a company, all they care about is multi-player and microtransaction. So Bioware did that and effectively dropped the ball on the ending.

I mean, technically yes, Bastila Shan first appeared in the video game... But she was actually originally written and envisioned to be the comicbook character Vima Sunrider.

The only thing that stopped that from happening was Jeep suing Lucasfilm over the name Sunrider. So they took the name from the now known as Juhani, then Bastila Shan, and gave it to Vima to settle the lawsuit.

This is why Canderous called Bastila a spoiled Jedi Princess, as she was the literal daughter of the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order Nomi Sunrider.

I love 2 the most... Though I tried replaying it last week but unfortunately it ran very poorly on my pc. Couldn't figure it out. Either some settings changed, or new drivers really hindered it with my new gpu.

I used to play it on a GT-1030 but now using a Titan V.

Maybe it always ran bad but I never noticed it because my old gpu ran everything bad and I got used to it, but now I'm spoiled and see how junky it displays on screen.

Gonna have to research it before reattempting to play 2 again. But not until after Space Marine 2
