Although there's a lot of plot for a movie. But the series has a pretty big timeline, so in context it's theoretically impossible to create a good legend of zelda movie, without referencing lord of the rings and game of thrones "a little bit" or a period series with more of a legend of zelda type of storyline. They would have to choose between child, teen, and adult link all of which has their spaces for movies respectively. But it's Hollywood so can't argue with risk taking.
