Imagine clocking over 5,000 hours in CK2 and then claiming it’s superior without even trying CK3. That’s like praising an old car because you’re used to the quirks, while ignoring a new model that actually drives better. CK3 isn’t just a prettier CK2 it overhauls almost every core system. The interface is cleaner and far more intuitive, dynasty and succession management is deeper and less frustrating, AI actually behaves intelligently in many scenarios, and combat is far more engaging. On top of that, mod support is stronger, tooltips and tutorials are massively improved, and quality-of-life features that took years of third-party mods in CK2 are now built in. Just because someone is deeply invested in CK2 or hasn’t evolved into the newer game doesn’t make CK3 worse it objectively modernizes and improves the experience in nearly every way.
