See AllWhat Is Talent in Digimon Story Time Stranger? (& How to Increase It)
Hey, I remember Digimon World Dusk/Dawn! (Technically it was a Story game mistitled upon its international release, but whatever.)
This might have just overtaken Cassette Beasts as my favorite creature collecting game for now. Is it perfect? No. But it's more fun than Pokémon has been in almost a decade. And of course, better than any Switch release.
As they say, others do what Nintendon't

Is There a Problem With Modern Nintendo Games? - Rantable
Also, I hate their attitude to fans that genuinely like their games. IMO, Nintendo died with Iwata. They've become such an unlikeable company now that I'd rather watch the 1990s Mario Movie (which was obviously a bad movie) on repeat for 60 hours straight than ever support them again.

I am going to 100% disagree with you.
I used to be a pretty big Nintendo fan. Not huge, but I had respect for them as a company. Even through the GameCube and Wii U eras. Now, I hate them for what they do to their fans while making very inconsistent at best games. And of course, the third-party games I play are generally all on Steam as well now.
Why have I turned on them? They overcharge for consoles that are roughly a cheaper Steam Deck in terms of performance but more expensive by $50 and with a worse screen than the older Switch OLED and raised the price of the Switch OLED making it not worth buying anymore, and you need new microSD Express cards, which are a small fortune to get, making it an expensive first-party machine and... A worse way of playing other games like Elden Ring or Cyberpunk 2077.
They tried to make an $80 launch game that is terrible value for the price (Mario Kart World), while trying to gaslight fanboys into buying it (and failing, because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is doing better than it). Heck, the game lies about being open world! It isn't! And the fact that it feels like a poor man's Forza Horizon while being more expensive does it no favors.
They tried to gaslight fans into think emulation is illegal (it is not illegal, pirating games is illegal, but not emulation itself; that was already decided over 25 years ago to be legal by courts) while overcharging for repairs and not even guaranteeing save data will be transferred, and banning users for... No good reasons. And bricking consoles, not player accounts.
They tried to accuse any company that dares be successful to their halo franchises with lawsuits instead of making their games better (and not just Palworld).
Oh, and their games starting with the Switch era have been increidbly inconsistent in terms of quality. Paper Mario The Origami King & pretty much all of the Gen 8 & 9 Pokemon games were bad, while the Fire Emblem games and the OG Breath of the Wild were great.
