This might be 1 of the hardest line-ups to do. The fact you're voting not as a game in general but your fave of how each compares to all other Mario games!? I always preferred as a kid that Mario 3 was my fave over Mario World, but as an older adult and look back at ALLLLL the GREAT Mario games throughout the years has really made it hard to choose not just a "Top" game list but a #1 outta them all is near impossible!😅 In no particular order my "Top 4" faves gotta be -

☆ Super Mario World 2: YOSHI'S ISLAND

☆ Super Mario Galaxy

☆ Super Mario Bros. 3

☆ Super Mario World

My honorable mentions are:

▪ Super Mario Sunshine🌞

▪ Super Mario Bros.

▪ Super Mario Galaxy 2

There are others, but these were the main 3 looking in close to my personal "Top" 4 in no order.

Lastly, 2 things I wanted to mention &/or bring up is Super Mario RUN shouldn't even be on this list!🤣😤🙂‍↔ Not only is it not a "true" Mario games, but isn't a "real" game in context. And if you DO put it on the list, Super Mario Bros. 2 is def WAAAY better!😂

The only other thing was I wanted to bring up is, outside maybe Mario WONDER , newer Mario games have become just WAAAAAAAAAAY TOO EASY!!!🙂‍↔ And don't bring up the whole, "Well, it's made for kids" thing. I grew up with the original trilogy, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, ect. Those games were difficult but fun. When the game is TOO easy the less challenging, rewarding, & fun it is in relation with those 2 things.
