Maybe I'm crazy but no way in hell does this game need to be more linear. They actually did that with the last 2 practically spoon feeding one storyline mission that will simply trigger another major storyline mission til the end with some side missions here and there. If they shook that up some and left it to exploring and doing what u want and then stumbling across something important and it triggered certain things but not other things making the story random or different, it would be cooler anyway since there's always stuff to be discovered in this game. But no way I'm convinced this game needs to be more linear. All the stuff mentioned here like camps and random animal attacks make it more fun even if its been done but don't jus take it out. Improve on it and make more options for these things to be more complex and/or rewarding. But linear? No. Hell no. I like that i can jump off a peak and wingsuit glide anywhere and maybe it's hostile there, maybe it's not.
