im sorry but since when does ‘use your imagination’ translate to ‘the answer is right there’? Im saying this as someone who doesnt mind izuocha, but from the way i see it, no ship is canon (which is what horikoshi said). Everybody is talking about how ochako had confirmed feelings for deku (which was 8 years before the epilogue mind you) but she also had feelings for himiko toga, vise versa, and even though togas urging her to let go of her, ochako has literally been seeing toga for years, showing that their relationship isnt something you can just let go of instantly. And with the ochako and deku “holding hands” (even though imo that was anything but romantic) you could also argue that bkdk “held hands” too?? In volume 40, after bakugou’s revival. I’m just saying that alot of other ships with deku and ochako have evidence supporting it, and izuocha isn’t necessarily canon. Though, as horikoshi said, it’s up to you what you want to interpret the ending as, but it’s not as ‘obvious’ as you guys had said it was, because so many people (including me) don’t think it’s as obvious. No ship is confirmed, but it’s nice seeing izuocha shippers get fed after the whole war arc thing with whatever bkdk had going on, as a bkdk and izuocha shipper myself.
