My first Pokemon game was (drum roll) Pokemon Red. Back in the days of Gameboy's without backlit screens and when the only walkthrough was finding a friend group with similar interests.

I can still remember evolving Charmander into Charmeleon for the first time or getting to the end of that first long cave, broken and bruised, only to find a trainer waiting for you at the exit to send you right back where you came from. So nostalgic.. Gen 1 #151 for life. Thank you to TPC for changing mine, and all of our lives.

It's gotta be Pikachu, simply because Pikachu is iconic. Not that there aren't other great Pokemon out there as well. I love the entire Dragonite evolution, but Pikachu is the GOAT.

First Berserker Khazan beats out every game on this list. The only game I've ever seen that is more polished than Khazan is Baldur's Gate 3. Really wish it was getting more attention.
