Looking at it in the wrong way from your perspective you think that shadow is weak just because he's using rings to control his power and you're giving more credit to Sonic because he's able to control his powers 🤨?

Someone that doesn't know how to control his power is far more dangerous and powerful.

He kind of reminds me to Broly from dragon Ball super.... When Broly was able to lose control after taking off the collar he became so powerful that not even Goku and Vegeta were able to keep up with him something similar like that can happen with shadow.

In Shadow generations shadow unlock more power he's able to Glide and do more than that if you're playing the game you know what I'm talking about. (I still have not play the game but I have some knowledge about what's going on in the in the game.... But I'll buy it someday someday)

Shadow is always holding back, he's kind to similar to Broly from dragon Ball super but the difference between Broly and Shadow is that shadow has rings that control his power so in this way he cannot lose control... That's why he's always holding back
