No one here is seriously comparing a fictional character to the most evil person to ever live. But we are using it as a point of reference. Had you read Jamie's post you'd have recognized the core of their argument is that you can't say an underling is worse than the genocidal maniac who enabled them to be in power.

They could have said Darth Sideous and Darth Vader, or any other historical figure besides Hitler. But, as is common for humans they chose to relate their point to something we are all familiar with, aka Hitler.
