See AllThousands of Magic: The Gathering Players Sign Petitions After Latest Commander Ban List Update
Commander is a casual format. If you're playing with a pod that doesn't like these bans, keep playing with them, but don't go imposing you're tastes on the rest of us. The RC isn't perfect, but they made a choice that most commander players are happy with, at least okay with, or not really affected by. Yes, I lost a fair chunk of financial value in my collection this week and that sucks, but, lets face it, banning more fast mana in commander is almost universally what people were clamoring for every time bans were discussed in the past couple years. We'll move on, forget about the cards we've had to pull out of our decks, and keep enjoying the format (and maybe even enjoy it a little bit more).
Honestly, the only one I'm not really okay with is the Nadu ban. Their reasoning seems really sound, and we all know that Nadu was a clear design mistake and can really warp time equity for a table, but I don't feel like the community really had enough time to adapt, adjust, and respond to Nadu existing. I wouldn't be surprised if the people playing Nadu right now because it's the cool new busted card got tired of it nearly as fast as those playing against them and Nadu died out in popularity in a year or so. Yes, maybe we shouldn't have to deal with a busted format for that long, but at the same time, bans in eternal formats should probably be less reactionary than that as well.
