I mad about the shiny rate. I literally play everyday for hours at a time, some days I go out 2 and 3 times and have yet tp encounter a shiny wooloo or a shiny skwovet. This seems to happen every time they introduce a new shiny with an event. It drives me nuts that I never encounter the new shiny out but encounter plenty of ones I already have. But my wife comes out with me once during this event and in no time she encounters shiny skwovet and here I am no encounters playing everyday for hours at a time with hundreds and hundreds of checking both and not one shiny encounter yet.
