See AllMonster Hunter Wilds Has a Scaling Issue
I genuinely don’t understand what people want. A higher health pool doesn’t make a monster harder — just longer.
They still hit you just as hard - still can ohko you.
Fighting the aberrant chained Arkveld, I joined so many parties that failed the mission bc of deaths. And then people claim the game is too easy?
Nah, I think it’s a gradual erosion of definitions thanks to soulslike games. “Easy” now means “I only died a few times,” and “hard” means “I died to this boss 20 times and it was super sweaty.”
But that’s not everyone’s definition of those words. No one cares how difficult the speedrunners or soulbros or twitch streamers find it. They’re not the litmus test for what’s difficult.
Im pretty damn good at this game, and I can honestly say I almost never cart. BUT I do still cart here and there. And there are times there’s a series of unfortunate events and my health gets spooky low lol.
That, to me, is a fine difficulty. “Easy” is when you don’t have to try. We are all having to try.. Let’s be honest
Monster Hunter Wilds: Offset Attacks Explained
It might be that pressing Y 3x for hammer is an offset, but then that would mean it has two. Bc after doing any attack, if you press Y+O at the same time, you’ll do a spinning bludgeon. If you then press Y and hold it, your hammer bro will reel back with the hammer and wait. When you let go of Y, he swings his hammer up into the air. THATS an offset attack.
