You mean sharingan lost its value when the rinnegan got introduced and only kept up with it when rinnegan was either nerfed or sharingan was buffed with sosp chakra.

The "value" isn't lost in Boruto. Hidari needed it to land a strike with chidori which he failed because he didn't have it.

- Naruto kicked Madara tso and nothing happened to him

- Narutos tso and Sasukes susanoo arrow nullified each other. Essentially the same as a rasenshuriken

- it didn't give Naruto any physical advantage.

- Sosp took back his powers after Kaguyas fight.

So even with tso, he wasn't stronger than Sasuke in the final fight even with ashura mode activated. Sasuke also gained dimension teleportation in Boruto, something which was not active in the entire war arc. Still didn't give Sasuke any advantages over otsusuki. Naruto is just weaker than Boruto's otsusuki villains. That's all

Minato only had help from Tobiramas guidelines to perfect flying raijin and Uzumaki clan to help coming up with better seals. Neither of which Boruto had and is still able to travel dimensions with his own version. Something neither Minato or Tobirama ever did. Boruto is a bigger prodigy than both

Sasuke and Boruto also teleported Isshiki out of Konoha so on what basis did Sasuke get stronger when Boruto's sword is seen broken against Code, activated karma and Sasuke turned into a tree without Boruto. Sasuke took Codes eyes cos it was a combined effort with Boruto. Naruto and Sasuke didn't get stronger and aren't getting stronger
