I would not like to see team sizes extended to 8 players.

Part of the fun of Helldivers 2, is how vastly outnumbered and outgunned we seem to be.

We are the elite units of managed democracy. We are the thing line between Super Earth and our foes.

The experience is supposed to feel overwhelming. We are supposed to use bonkers sci fi tools to tip the tide in our favour enough for us to finish the mission and extract.

If you add 4 more players, then it'll feel like we're more of a full military squad. I wouldn't feel elite. And with 7 other players to rely upon I wouldn't feel scared or overwhelmed.

My heart wouldn't be racing.

And I wouldn't feel like an elite unit.

Not to mention practically speaking, it's just not feasible is it? With our bonkers (AND FUN) tools, we're team killing left right and center as it is lol. And that's 4 players, 16 strategems (4 per player)

This is proposing 8 players, 32 strategems.

Not to mention this game is very demanding and buggy as it is... Let alone with that much more going on.

Hell no. No and no and no. If it is added it better at least be optional.
