No, AI isn't comparable to the washing machine or personal computer. The washing machine doesn't gather your clothes from around the house, wash them, dry them, fold them and put them away. The personal computer doesn't think for you, it basically does as it is told. With a simple prompt, AI will generate pictures, whole videos and even books. No, AI is bad and needs to go. It makes people dumb, lazy and prevents people from learning skills for themselves. As for the new jobs that AI will cause to be created, that will mean labor jobs like construction and power plant operators. We are already short on those kinds of skilled people. No, AI is not a positive development.
