He was never even close to a battle of ridiculous let alone training like that. Naruto was new and adapting to it ASAP in the first fight of that caliber being introduced to that magnitude anyone and even by default you've seen ppl not only run in same stakes fights in real life ( its just impulse fight or flight) and Naruto of course, but you also see them noting if in a fight with new levels of speed or power they're not used to they knownor esay go retreat and train becauee its to much to try at the time. God levels elite levels all those types were unable to and smart enough to badk down but like goku Narutos said no im doing this now. And thats why hes so strong he cares less about a win but more about 1v1 in him and enduring the battle enjoying it just 1v1 in and getting stronger and enjoying the battle.
