The travesty that was the movie says enough about the direction. It’s a “folks, these first games were lightning in a bottle genius, let’s ride this out!” Something has changed, however… and selling out the name to a movie without any quality failsafes tells me all I need to know about what this dude stands for, and the direction of the franchise. Real fan? He doesn’t care what his own franchise name is attached to, or what happens to it as long as it sells. Try becoming a real writer brah.
