I was for this when Chadwick passed. But now, maybe they should have did this instead of having Shuri in the last movie. Michael B. Jordan played his character so well I don't want to see a full movie on his alternate Tchalla. Michael B. Jordan already tried another Marvel character as well. Give me Aldis Hodges or, a new or, unknown actor? Maybe one actually from Africa. I wish Marvel would stop recycling characters and move forward. What if was cool and all but for the movie let's just get the story straight.

It's not to protect the character's legacy by not recasting that would be protection of the actors legacy. I love Chadwick but he didn't just make the movie for me. It was the whole cast, the back stories, the richness and history of African and black culture all together. It's time to push forward and give fans of marvel what they want. A new T'challa to continue the richness of a strong African country making a impact in communities off screen.

You mean protect the "actor's legacy". Cartoon characters get recasted all the time. Learn to seperate the actor from the character. Robert Downey Junior is coming back as the alternate Iron man/Dr. Doom, Chris Evans.
