I’m a casual gamer so Game Pass Ultimate was never a draw for me. I have Game Pass Premium and that is more than adequate. But if I was more than a casual gamer or if I became a serious gamer there is no way that I would allow Microsoft to screw me like that. Bill Gates will forget about more money than I will ever see, and I’m not the least bit interested in giving him more like that. Greed, like bad karma, has a way of biting your backside and I have no doubt that he will feel that in lost business. Following the price increase of the console with an outrageous price increase of Game Pass sends a clear message to millions of customers that Microsoft doesn’t care in the least about the people that make them successful. I don’t buy the tariff excuse either. Tariffs don’t hurt you when you’re selling something that costs $200 or less to make for $549.
