People always underestimate the Terran marines. They have the numbers of the guardsman, while carrying essentially full auto rail-rifles. Yknow, the things Tau infantry use to 1-shot space marines. Decent armor and combat shields, and that's just basic marines. Marauders and firebats can easily fill in for terminators
