Best weapon against Komodo or any demon that stays on you aggressively with melee moved is chain mace. You get into a nice dance: counter attack, your chain ball charges up automatically for the next shot, counter attack, insta-charge again, counter attack... It's a thing of beauty against melee class enemy. Even the ones with the bubble around them, as when their bubble drops, just go in close and provoke a melee attack, counter attack etc.

I'm sure on a PC running high or ultra with quality DLSS? Dark Ages looks good but on Xbox Series X? Dark Ages looks smudgy and blurry. Almost like running at 900p, so it looks much worse than Eternal. Eternal looks high res and very sharp, and with Ray Tracing it looks fantastic. I'm not sure how reviewers cal it an upgrade. The only thing Dark Ages does better is the setting and color palette, to keep it gritty and dark. Especially those Lovecraftian inspired worlds around mission 15 or 16.

Well, from what I understood? Space flight was never part of the outer worlds experience. So you really can't compare the two. If we are comparing the two? Then we may as well throw Mass Effect 1 in there as well. Mass Effect 1 has both the lore, and (for its time), large explorable areas that you explored via SRV... And you at least had a spaceship, although you didn't fly it.

No external disk drive? No buy. I own too many physical copies of games I'd want to see run faster/ better on the new Xbox, like Control, Dragon Age Veilguard, Cyberpunk, Witcher 3 (just to name a few)...and I'm not rebuying them in digital.

I've always played my consoles on a monitor, all throughout time, in my own room. In fact it was one of the best ways to get the best image quality out of a PS1 and Xbox original. Or even the GameCube and Dreamcast.

You're over exaggerating. The author already considers her to be a witcher. The very character herself considered herself to be a witcher, even in the books. If it's the low hanging fruit it's because of how things ended in the books and by extension the extended universe. So? If Ciri considers herself to be a witcher, how are you not going to have a game of her collecting heads for a living? It was how she was freaking raised for the most part. It's in her blood regardless.

Mr. Sapkowski already considered Ciri to be a Witcher, so this was the only logical step. I know... People want to play as Geralt. They want to play as Geralt forever. There's only one witcher in his name is Geralt. That is a thought process. But? This only makes sense. Again, because Ciri's already considered herself a Witcher in the books. How are you not going to have a game without her collecting heads in a post Hunt story?

It's difficult to guess as to what her age might be and I frankly won't even bother lol But? She will look much different after having become a mutant, effectively. So in that regard? It was perfect. I think they, detail-wise, considered it very carefully, as to what a woman undergoing the Trials would look like.

They're trying to avoid another E3 2013 (?) Incident. CD showed off the Witcher 3 trailer using the PC version, which looked amazing...but once the next gen consoles specs were finalized? CD had to do some major dumbing down in the lighting department. Almost as soon as the game released, PC modders had E3 Lighting mods ready to bring back the E3 graphics. These mods are able to be found today. But any of the photorealistic lighting mods will do similar.

Although I would love for The Oldest House to be in Control? I would also love to see her outside of the house and maybe in various AW areas, such as showing up to Bright Falls itself, which could be done via the Lakeview Motel.

No. I haven't played it since rovers update and even then? Never even tried the damn rover yet because I was looking for a "space game" when I bought it and there isn't much to do in space. You don't travel to planets, you don't fly station to station, the map transfer system/ loading mechanic places you right at the thing you need to go to, you don't take off and land, no space mining, no bounty hunting...

This is why we need to stop calling it a "space game" or "space exploration game." People that don't actually know what a proper "space game" is? Are just confusing people. You don't do much in/ with your ship and it takes jumping 10 times just to find space combat. You're more likely to find a "space begger" asking you for materials. Starfield is a "space themed RPG." Big difference. It's like a Mass Effect that you can sometimes control your ship in. In fact? The whole problem with this game is the same thing with the description of this game in this article. It implied a "space (flight) and space exploration game. It's just a classic Bethesda walking game and the rovers are no different than the horses you had in Oblivion or Skyrim.

Again, people that don't know what a proper space game is doesn't know what space exploration means. It's not just exploring planetary surfaces. In fact? One could argue if that even is "space exploring." When No Man's Sky released, It didn't bear the hallmarks of what made a space game a "space game." With space enthusiasts often citing the game to be more of a planetary explorer. Since then however? Space games have started making planetary surface exploration as being part of the experience. But it is the act of finding bodies, abandoned ships and stations, or even entire systems that makes it a space exploration game. In that you find and scan planets, in order to potentially explore it's surface.

But hey! I guess you could call Starfield a "space exploration themed" game.
