Halo Infinite Fans Aren't Happy About New Weapon
Remember that "Halo Studios" is merely 343 rebranded to try and run from all the criticisms.
They do not deserve benefit of the doubt when core leadership are people who hate Halo, gunplay, and anything pertaining to FPS games.
Until they actually release a good halo that's respectful to the established lore and the heart of series, they do not deserve any sympathy
This is the same people who thought fans didn't care about Chief for five.
These are the same people who turned the entirety of Halo 2 into some flashback sequence for Arbiter as he's talking to Shitton Locke.
These are the same people who thought nobody wanted split screen, promised split screen, and then decided to just not do it.
Nothing has changed, nothing will.
Real Halo fans just want MCC to have the hacker problems fixed so they can just enjoy the golden times of their favorite franchise at this point

Open world design is only good when it's more sandbox related, think Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of the Wild.
Helldivers didn't shake up the formula. They just made a third person horde shooter. It got popular because it was a good game in an era where AAA slop is rampant.
The open world design of bioshock will be a detriment.
