True, but I doubt they'll make a series that continues the main plot since movie 2 and 3. They'll wrap up the anime itself. Mugan Train arc indeed had extras to connect the dots more, but I doubt it will happen with the movies in progress and after. If so, you can prove me wrong later after the movies are finished.
