Sherry. Highly likely. She was just a background character until 6 and reprised her presence in the remake. She has that WoW Anduin affect where people have seen a character literally grow and get attached to.

Billy and Sheva, possibly. Being main partners have a high chance. Look at Barry in Revelations 2 providing more characters and being core to that story

The FPS 7/Village fungus hand-shield PT clone felt like a disconnected fever dream. Titles made for streaming creators with injected lore block text to loosely tie things on to an already cohesive ship.
