Goons are the best…and I don’t mean space pilots because Goons Can’t Tackle. I finally let a somethingawful posting buddy convince me to try Eve after burning out on both EQ and WoW in 2022 a few months before Uprising dropped. Been in several wars, some big massive brawls, and voice-com mining downtime making isk with some really good people. Even our sworn enemies are pretty chill, and the ecosystem around Eve (3rd party tools, Eve Forums, Discord, even r/Eve) is just as much fun as actually undocking! I just wish I didn’t believe the bittervet-spiel and had started playing sooner!
