Jeremy Yes, I'm aware unfortunately. And that's precisely one of the reasons I'm never investing in another EA trap. These people may be the most irresponsible devs I've come across but I love the game concept and the sandboxy & private aspect of it....it gives a certain level of freedom/control.
My world, no premade quests and storylines to follow, and no other players nagging my play style...especially if you delete all premades and build your own world as I do with mods as well to prevent randoms...I don't even consider buying 5 if it is released after all....

Morgan Then the people who want online can buy it if and when it's out. I didn't say y'all couldn't have it. I've personally spent a lot of money on this game and I see no reason to spend more or start over on a new game with a feature I'm not interested in.
If not for the bugs, I'm fully happy with the 4! And I don't even know if EA will make the online part mandatory and bugged!
I work online and at this point I have developed a strong dislike for social media and interaction with entitled people. I can't interact with these people in my game too. This game is my peace away from them....

I have every single DLC and have invested in this game. I would not buy the Sims 5 especially if it was online and multiplayer because the reason I play the Sims 4 in the first place is freedom to built a world and characters that suit ME with no judgement. However, I would very much appreciate EA updating and fixing anything that needs to be updated and fixed before releasing another money grab....
