So TL:DR

You are complaining that the game is no longer unnecessarily Easy, and you want every Pokemon and Item handed to you before the first gym (like getting the XP All before fighting the first gym in X and Y).

You are also compaining that you can no longer cheese/exploit the Overland sprites into handing you free shinies with minimal effort.

You wouldn't have lasted 2 hours in Platinum...
