FFVIII and FFIX did not get much credit back in the day. Both deserved the same praise VII got.

My only gripe about IX was how long it took to level once you got to the 60s.

The chocobo digging minigame was so much fun. I guess 2 gripes, the card game was no good. Triple Triad was boss.

Im a huge FF fan, but im sorry, VII is overrated. People love to give all the credit to VII, some credit to X, barely any credit to IX, and none to VIII, X-2 or XII.

Still waiting to play 1-6, the 13s, 14, 15, 16, Type 0, crisis core, tactics...

I suppose it makes sense if youre looking at non-gameplay story-based character strength.

But I do want to point out that I found Ashe to be the strongest in XII as I pitted her and Basch against each other many time with no weapons or armor. She always came out victorious in a fight to the end!

FFVIII was my first final fantasy game. It holds a big place in my heart. Likened to Dragon Quest VIII.

The game play was great. It was a great example of an RPG. It was a great introduction to the huge, open world style of final fantasy. And it was much smoother than VII.

I am a huge fan of XII, but I agree you should play at least from VII and up before playing XII in order to get the most out of it and master the gambit system.

I feel it is a rite of passage to first play the normal turn based styles of earlier rpgs before moving on to the gambit system (which was highly underrated).

But every game I played was crucial to the series. A completely different style of weapon system, or magic system, or armor sysyem or summon monster system.

Finally someone showing well deserved love for this great series. It couldve been a little different, but not much. One really good thing about it was that it didnt focus on all the people who were in the middle of everything from the start of dragonball(except goku of course, he is the series).

It was a fresh take, a sequel if you will, that provided great exploration and action.

It didnt revert back to dragonball humor and maturity levels like super did at first, it kept a darker feel to it.

And sorry, Super Saiyan 4 was way better than red and blue. It was the next logical evolution. Come full circle to a super saiyan form of oozaru and then ascending to god level. To go back to black hair and have half monkey traits. To be so filled with rage to appear dead calm and terrifying at the same time.

And Vegeta was still the guy you pretty much dont want to mess with. Gero gero gero.

No to san andreas. Not because i wasnt a fan of the gang theme, but because it had too much unused open space and not a whole lot of city or a whole lot to do outside of the actual missions. And it certainly wasnt better than 3 or vice city.

Also, tekken tag, final fantasy XII, tony hawk ps3 and 4, final fantasy X-2 to name a few more.

PS2 was one of my 2 favorite consoles, super nes being the other.

The eternals was very good. Big team, good diversity of character traits. Good action. Opened up future storylines. Maybe the way they did the deviants was too different from the comics, but very good aside from that.

Unfortunately the inhumans got a bad storyline on tv, they need a correction. MCU is good at what they do.
