I usually don't like the appeal of kart games. I do not have mario kart 8 or its predecessors or any form of kart games like from Sonic franchise, etc. However,... When I try to test this out, I realize it has so many modes and objectives and more DLC content to come from Nintendo (based on past histories on 8), I feel it's worth a try to get it.
High and consistent frame rates and quite some pretty cartoonish worlds are the key factors I bought the game. Without the hardware of NS2, I might skip it. Now, I am even thinking of getting this additional game for my kid as well.
It is relaxing and fun. A good time off from some serious games.
