There's too many Star wars fans that are unhappy with anything or everything that comes out. So it's best to just leave it alone. I wouldn't make anything new. They complain about the mandalorian. They complained about Andor. They complained about the new Star wars movies. But I do have to agree with some on The acolyte could have been a whole lot better. The writing was off to me.
